Chopped Strand Mat
CENTRAL GLASS FIBER CHOPPED STRAND MAT is produced by chopping glass fiber strands or rovings in lengths of about 50mm and upon depositing these at random in a horizontal plane, they are adhered together in a mat with polyester binder.
Uses
This product is used to manufacture large-size molded products, boats, bathtubs, tanks, etc. in the hand lay-up method.It is also used to produce corrugated sheets and flat sheets in the continuous laminate molding process.
Further, it is used for producing thick sheets, covers, troughs, etc. in the press molding method.
